A “non-confidential agreement” is a contract generally between a business entity and an inventor to undertake an intellectual property review wherein the company is under no obligation to receive the idea as a secret or to keep secret the shared information. The entity almost always requires the inventor to possess a patent, trademark and/or copyright in the relevant intellectual property field so as to protect and preserve their interests and rights.
